"The state of being current; up-to-dateness"

So, I haven't done any big paintings for ages. Again. But this time, however I've tried to do speed paintings, and then confounded things even more by deciding to start working directly in colour. It's quite interesting. Though i could do with structure, some sort of step by step functionality(i.e. Day 1= Mug. Day 2=Fruit)In either case it seem beneficial.

Don't know if i will post my progress and experiments here though, DevArt doesn't come across as that sort of place. Non finished works are hidden away in the scraps never to be seen.(I do watch every ones scraps mind you, but if i was to stumble onto some ones gallery i probably couldn't find how to get into their scraps.) But hopefully it yields improvements that will start showing in my main paintings here.

In other "up-to-dateness"(HAHAHA) I started using a new sleeping pattern, waking at 6:30am each day, and i find it to be excellent for most ever aspect of my life. It's time enough for me to get a speed painting done(if i have an idea) before having to get ready for work. Or play a game or read or watch a T.V. show. The day feels a hell of a lot more productive when I've woken early.
